CRYO H&I CLN40 Liquid Nitrogen Generator
Brand - CRYO H&I
The CRYO H&I CLN40 is an automated liquid nitrogen generator with an output of at least 40 L/day and an integrated 100 L Dewar vessel. The system produces nitrogen from ambient air, liquefies it using a GM cryocooler, and stores the finished LN₂ directly at the facility. The system includes an oil-free air compressor, nitrogen generation module, cryogenic module with a helium compressor, storage system, and automatic control. The model is suitable for large laboratories, medical facilities and biobanks, research centers, food technologies, cryogenic material treatment, electronics, and other production processes with regular medium liquid nitrogen consumption. On-site generation helps maintain an in-house LN₂ inventory and reduce dependence on external supply.
On-site Supply for Facilities with a Constant LN₂ Requirement
The CLN40 provides a complete production cycle at the customer's facility: ambient air preparation, nitrogen separation, cryogenic liquefaction, and storage of the finished product. An output of at least 40 L/day and a 100 L inventory are intended for facilities with stable medium consumption. On-site production enables more accurate LN₂ supply planning and reduces the impact of transport costs, vessel rental, and possible delivery delays.
How the Generator Works
The oil-free compressor compresses ambient air, after which the nitrogen generation module separates nitrogen from the other components of air. The purified gas enters the cryogenic module, where the GM cryocooler, operating together with the helium compressor, creates the temperature required to liquefy nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen produced at a temperature of approximately -196 °C is collected in a vacuum-insulated Dewar vessel.
Control and Daily Operation
The PLC, touchscreen, and level sensor provide process control and LN₂ inventory monitoring. The integrated 100 L Dewar vessel stores the finished product and compensates for uneven consumption throughout the day. The water chiller can be supplied separately, allowing the cooling system to be matched to the engineering conditions of the specific facility.
Key Advantages
Output of at least 40 L/day. A solution for regular laboratory, medical, or industrial consumption.
100 L LN₂ inventory. The integrated cryogenic vessel stores the finished product.
Autonomous supply. On-site generation reduces dependence on liquid nitrogen deliveries.
Flexible installation. A separate chiller allows the arrangement to be adapted to site conditions.
