CRYO H&I CLN13 Liquid Nitrogen Generator
Brand - CRYO H&I
The CRYO H&I CLN13 is a compact automated generator for producing liquid nitrogen directly at the point of use. The unit uses ambient air, provides an output of at least 13 L of LN₂ per day, and stores the finished product in an integrated 40 L Dewar vessel. The system combines an oil-free air compressor, nitrogen generation module, GM cryocooler, helium compressor, storage system, and automatic control. The model is suitable for scientific, educational, and analytical laboratories, medical, reproductive, and veterinary centers, cryogenic storage of biological samples, as well as research systems and technological processes with a regular requirement for small volumes of liquid nitrogen. On-site LN₂ production helps reduce dependence on external delivery schedules.
Liquid Nitrogen Directly at the Facility
The CLN13 provides a complete cycle of on-site liquid nitrogen production: from ambient air intake to LN₂ storage in the integrated cryogenic vessel. This arrangement makes it possible to plan production according to actual consumption and reduces dependence on transportation, vessel rental, and delays in the delivery of ready-made liquid nitrogen.
How the Generator Works
The oil-free compressor compresses ambient air, after which the nitrogen generation module separates nitrogen from the other components of air. The purified gas enters the cryogenic module, where the GM cryocooler, operating together with the helium compressor, creates the temperature required to liquefy nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen produced at a temperature of approximately -196 °C is collected in a vacuum-insulated Dewar vessel.
Control and Daily Operation
The PLC and 6-inch color touchscreen provide unit control and display the operating parameters. The level sensor makes it possible to monitor the LN₂ inventory over a range of 0-100%. The compact integrated design simplifies system placement, while the finished product can be withdrawn from the integrated vessel for subsequent use or for filling external cryogenic vessels, depending on the selected configuration.
Key Advantages
Autonomy. On-site LN₂ production reduces dependence on external logistics.
Integrated design. The main generation, liquefaction, control, and storage components are combined in one system.
Automated control. The PLC, touchscreen, and level sensor simplify the operator's daily work.
Compact output. The model is designed for facilities with small but regular liquid nitrogen consumption.
